This week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week, a week we celebrate being Drug Free and share the importance of living a Drug Free life. The Red Ribbon Week theme this year is:
LIFE IS YOUR JOURNEY: TRAVEL DRUG FREE.
In counseling classes, students have been discussing the importance of living a drug fee life and are very excited to say that Stoutland is a Drug Free School? Each day we will have a fun themed dress up day. Students and staff are encouraged to participate and have fun! Remember, Life is Your Journey - Travel Drug Free.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 29TH - "RED-Y" TO LIVE A DRUG-FREE LIFE! - Wear Red
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30TH - FROM HEAD TO TOE WE ARE DRUG FREE! - Wear Crazy Socks and a Hat
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31ST - SAY BOO TO DRUGS! - Wear a school appropriate Halloween costume (no masks and no fake weapons allowed)
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST - DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU TO BE DRUG FREE! - Dress like a Twin with a Friend
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND - TRAVEL DRUG FREE - WHERE WILL YOU GO? - Dress like a Tourist
Red Ribbon Week Activities:
* Classroom door decorating contest
* Poster contest for students
* Kick off and wrap up assemblies
*Guest visitor from the DARE program
*Costume parade
